ABQ Here I come!!

I did it. I accepted the unbelievable job in Albuquerque, New Mexico!!!! See map for a quick review on exactly where that is...3 hours 45 minutes north of Mexico or 2 hours from Las Vegas depending on which debauchery destination you prefer to orient yourself with.


The official moving date is the second of June so I can be there and settled by my first day of work, June 16th!!! Thank you to all of my friends and family that supported me through my endless debate about this big decision...now for the endless planning for such a big change!

For examplesssss:
Should I use a professional mover or move myself?
What route should I take?
What about my car, should I try and sell it before I move or risk paying to ship/tow it there?
What about Fraggle, will he overheat, will he get along with a doggie full time?
What kind of doggie should I get?
Should I buy my scrubs now or wait?
Do I get to buy new nursing shoes? What color?
So exciting. Not to mention the excitement of living in the same town as my sister and brother in law for the first time since 1995!! Whatever shall we do with ourselves? I have a feeling there will be a lot of celebrating: Kate's/Rae's/Dave's first day of work celebration? New dog celebratory dog park visit? Move-in wine, olives, and cheese party?



I think I may need to redirect my focus from the planning to the school which is SOOOO hard now. I had a really good weekend after a pretty life altering Thursday, lots of going out with friends and having a Kate revival...kindof spring break-ish :) Thanks to all my friends that helped me remember how to let loose!
