Recently, it was brought to my attention that the black man in the "Yes We Can" video is NOT Wyclef Jean (see picture below). It is in fact Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.
My bad.
For the record however, Wyclef DOES support Obama...so I was not completely falsifying information...thanks Andrew for the heads up though :)

When I googled for Stephen Colbert and Obama I found a pretty creative face morphing of Stephen and Barack.
I always thought face morphing was neato. Remember the Black or White Michael Jackson video?In other news, my big "The Health Care Crisis: Student Nurses for Change" event is tomorrow! (and yet here I am blogging when I should be preparing!) It is very exciting. My MT NPR interview should be archived online tomorrow. I will post a link for my faithful blog readers to listen to and judge for themselves if I sounded like a felt. I wish I had a picture to accompany it...I found myself staring with a stupid huge grin on my face while breathing quick shallow breaths and NOT listening to the question but then realizing that she asked ME a question and trying to come up with something remotely related to the two or three words I actually heard.
Yeah, Kate was just a LITTLE nervous. No nervous laugh though....maybe I have finally gotten rid of that horrid social response? I havent met any boyfriend's parents in awhile though, that will be the test...I am breaking into a sweat thinking about it. How funny. I am not nervous to get in front of an audience of 300 tomorrow but just the thought of meeting a guy's parents makes me go into a downward spiral of nervous energy!
Okay, so I have had too much coffee and cookies.
Rae - good luck running your subjects today :)... Dave - Are you bringing your golf clubs to ABQ?...Liz - Congrats on the new hybrid car (I am green with the envy)... Well, Kate Maudie, once again, you have exceeded everyone's expectations, gone above and beyond (too bad you don't have that interview question back, eh??), and rocked pretty much everyone's world. I hear you're kind of a big deal!!!!

Oh, and so funny that, like every other good American, the most important thing about the presidential candidate that you support is the celebrities who endorse the same one. Tee Hee Hee!!
