The SureFire E2D LED Defender is only one of the tactical weapons now available to me in case of home intruder, random assault, or cockroach invasion. I could really F* some people up. No lie. If only there was a better word than THANK YOU to describe my extreme gratitude to Ryan for helping me move into my new house in Albuquerque and outfiting me so well with self-defense flashlights and knives.
Real friends give switchblades. It should be embroidered on a pillow.
I am officially in my new place and begin orientation on Monday. This weekend is going to be a test of my comfort with the city living when I embark on a nineteen mile run...I might bike somewhere to do it. Probably will be aided by my new favorite gadget (again...Ryan is the super friend of the year) the Garmin StreetPilot.
This little gadget not only tells you in a British/Aussie accent where to turn etc. but also can identify the nearby restaurants/attractions and has BlueTooth so I can receive phone calls through it! Totally freaking amazing. The big, freaky Albuquerque adventure has definetly been centered around the cockroach population of my backyard. I will dedicate an entire blog post to this Saturday. An education you may never forget despite wanting to.

Oh Kate you have officially learned about the cockroaches, something I never could get used to in El Paso. Good luck with the new job.
Peace
Linda

I'm so glad you'll be safe in the Alb. I'll be interested to hear how the new flashlight works on the cockroach issue.... ;)
Okay, so Ryan moved a bunch of heavy stuff and hooked you up with some gear. But did he give you a cockroach control manual?
